Dave Vogt The Owner

David Vogt is a seasoned leader and innovator in the asphalt paving industry, with over three decades of hands-on experience and a proven track record of performance and excellence.

After graduating high-school in 1988, Dave began his paving career, working as a paving crew laborer for Salem Road and Driveway Co. He was able to combine this while pursuing his education, graduating from Oregon State University in 1993, with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Management. At Salem Road and Driveway, Dave ascended quickly through the ranks, ultimately serving as General Manager for three years before relocating to Bend, Oregon, in 2004.

There, as the Construction and Asphalt Paving Division Manager for Hooker Creek Companies, David led his team to unprecedented success - delivering the highest-quality pavements in Oregon and earning the prestigious award for the smoothest highway paved in the state for six consecutive years.

In 2010, Dave created and lead 7 Peaks Paving, where he continued to pursue and elevate Oregon's standard for superior asphalt paving. In 2017, Dave successfully sold the company and was eager for his next business opportunity.

A lifelong innovator, David has consistently pioneered cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices. He was among the first in Oregon to implement Warm Mix Asphalt, Porous Asphalt, and the incorporation of recycled composite roofing shingles into asphalt production—advancing both performance and environmental responsibility.

In 2018, David launched Asphalt Consulting Management, a venture dedicated to developing smoother, more durable asphalt pavement systems and innovative rehabilitation solutions for contractors and owners alike.

During a 2020 consulting project at Spring Mountain Motorsports, he created TrackBond™, a highly durable coating specifically engineered for demanding racetrack environments. Over the following year, he refined this breakthrough technology for broader applications—including parking lots, driveways, and roadways—culminating in the patent-pending Asphalt Armor™ by the end of 2021.

Today, David continues to drive the asphalt and pavement coating industry forward through innovation, quality, and a mission to Extend the life of Asphalt Pavements.
